KNOW YOUR AUTHORITY AND USE IT

WEAPONS FORMED TO HARM YOU, ARE DESTROYED!

While in prayer tonight, I saw that the devil is making weapons in his factory according to the person he is targeting. He studies you first to know your weakness and strength before making a weapon that can hit you well. Perhaps he has made for you a sword or a bullet or a disease or poverty or unpayable debts.
Isaiah 54:14-17 “14 In righteousness you shall be established; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.15 Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake. 16 “Behold, I have created the blacksmith Who blows the coals in the fire, Who brings forth an instrument for his work; And I have created the spoiler to destroy.17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness is from Me,” Says the LORD.”
This Scripture reveals many promises about your victory from today:
1. The righteousness of Christ is your foundation to stand on.
2. What scares or intimidates you has been removed.
3. Those who fight against you have already fallen.
4. All weapons fashioned against you are destroyed.
5. The curse words on you are erased and defeated.
6. You deserve this because you are justified and you are a servant of God (you didn’t earn this righteousness)
However, I have called the fire of God to burn the factory and destroy the power of the agents of the devil that he has planned to use against you. Be strong and courageous, and stand firm in the faith. Your faith in God has set you free. Luke 17:19 “And He said to him, “Arise, go your way. Your faith has made you well.””
Your prayer life needs faith to be efficient and productive.
Eph 6:16 “above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.”

ACTUALIZE YOUR DIVINE DESTINY
It is believed that natural destiny is the event that will necessarily happen to a particular person in future or the hidden power believed to control your future. Divine destiny is something different. It is the destiny of God in or for a man’s life. We need to spend time with God to discover what God intended for our life. God has a unique purpose for each and every one of us. Rom 8:28 “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” We do not exist in this world by accident. God had a plan before we were created in the womb. We are wonderfully and fearfully made. Psalm 139:13-14 “You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous––how well I know it.” Remember that each and every one of us is unique. God has specific plans for you. That’s why He stamped a unique fingerprint and DNA in you. You have to search the perfect will of God for your life.
We are in a journey towards our God-given destiny. God didn’t rescue you from powers of darkness for nothing. He planned to transfer you to His new kingdom. Col 1:13 “He has delivered us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son.” You are no longer in Egypt nor in the wilderness. Learn to locate your land flowing with milk and honey otherwise you will not enjoy abundant life in store for you.Exodus 3:8 “So I have come down to rescue them from the power of the Egyptians and lead them out of Egypt into their own fertile and spacious land. It is a land flowing with milk and honey––the land where the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites, and Jebusites now live.”
Let me give you conditions for achieving what God has prepared for you. Those conditions are found in Exodus 23:20-33.
1. You need protection
Verse 20 “See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you.”
2. Be attentive and obedient
Verse 21,22 “ Pay close attention to him, and obey his instructions. Do not rebel against him, for he is my representative, and he will not forgive your rebellion. But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you.”
3. You need a visionary leader
Verse 23 “For my angel will go before you and bring you into the land of the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, Canaanites, Hivites, and Jebusites, so you may live there. And I will destroy them completely.”
4. You must break satanic covenants
Verse 24 “You must not worship the gods of these nations or serve them in any way or imitate their evil practices. Instead, you must utterly destroy them and smash their sacred pillars.”
5. Put your total trust in God
Verse 25 “You must serve only the LORD your God. If you do, I will bless you with food and water, and I will protect you from illness.
6. Know God’s desire – To be productive and live long
Verse 26 “There will be no miscarriages or infertility in your land, and I will give you long, full lives.”
7. Fear of the Lord must go before you
Verse 27,28 “I will send my terror ahead of you and create panic among all the people whose lands you invade. I will make all your enemies turn and run. I will send terror ahead of you to drive out the Hivites, Canaanites, and Hittites.
8. Full possession will depend on your power to occupy
Verse 29,30 But I will not drive them out in a single year, because the land would become desolate and the wild animals would multiply and threaten you. I will drive them out a little at a time until your population has increased enough to take possession of the land.
9. Know your demarcations and boundaries
Verse 31 And I will fix your boundaries from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the eastern wilderness to the Euphrates River. I will hand over to you the people now living in the land, and you will drive them out ahead of you.
10. Avoid compromise of your faith
Verse 32,33 “Make no treaties with them or their gods. They must not live in your land, or they will cause you to sin against me. If you serve their gods, you will be caught in the trap of idolatry.”
I want to encourage you that God has promised good things for you.
Numbers 10:29 “One day Moses said to his brother–in–law, Hobab son of Reuel the Midianite, “We are on our way to the place the LORD promised us, for he said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us and we will treat you well, for the LORD has promised wonderful blessings for Israel!”
Isaiah 1:19,20 If you will only obey me, you will have plenty to eat.
But if you turn away and refuse to listen, you will be devoured by the sword of your enemies. I, the LORD, have spoken!”
You have a bright future. Be optimistic and not pessimistic.
Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.”
God had a great purpose when He created you. You are so special in His sight. You are His masterpiece. He will never leave you nor forsake you. God richly bless you as you take steps to fulfill your divine destiny.
OVERCOMING LIFE’S CHALLENGES BY SPIRITUAL METHODS – Dr Lawi Mshana
Let’s use principles found in 1 Kings 17:2-16 on learning how to be fed by God while others are starving.
1. Hear the voice of God more than the thoughts of men
Verse 2: “And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying.” We need to have ears that hear from God and listen attentively to His voice. Our God does not only speak in church services but even at home or when we are alone meditating on His word.
2. Discover a work or job that will hide you even if it is despised – it will bring you closer to your God
Verse 3: “ Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.” Elijah was not led to a big river of Jordan but to a brook Cherith. This indicates that God can bless even a despised job. We need spiritual eyes to help us locate our God-given blessings.
3. Identify the blessings located close to you and located far away
Verse 4: “And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.” God planned to use brook to supply drink and ravens to supply food. There are blessings that are near you and that are far away from you. So you need discernment to enjoy God’s provision for your life.
4. Take the initiative to do what God is telling you to do without hesitation
Verse 5 “So he went and did according unto the word of the Lord: for he went and dwelt by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan.” Don’t allow your limited mind to doubt what God is directing you to do. Just believe and act and you will see the glory of God. God knows the end from the beginning.
5. Stop despising people – God can use someone you do not trust
Verse 6: “And the ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook.” No one expects ravens to bring bread and flesh safely because flesh is their main food. Moreover, ravens are clean. So God can command a person you never expected to serve or bless you.
6. Accept the limits God has set for certain kinds of blessings
Verse 7: “And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land.” We need to continue hearing from God because He has set different seasons in our life. We can’t just stick to last year’s guidelines. When God allows the brook to dry, He has a greater plan in store for us.
7. Do not cling to outdated visions – Receive new vision and instructions from God
Verses 8, 9: “And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, Arise, get thee to Zarephath, which belongeth to Zidon, and dwell there: behold, I have commanded a widow woman there to sustain thee.” When God closes one door, He has opened another one. So do not force to open the closed door. Instead find a door that is open for you. It is possible that God wants you to relocate now in order to meet you financial breakthrough.
8. Identify people who have your blessings even if they are low-level people
Verse 10: “So he arose and went to Zarephath. And when he came to the gate of the city, behold, the widow woman was there gathering of sticks: and he called to her, and said, Fetch me, I pray thee, a little water in a vessel, that I may drink.” God can use whomever He choose. Just humble yourself and see how God will raise people you never thought of. You are God’s masterpiece.
9. Recognize the signs of identifying people with your blessings and know how to connect with them.
Verses 11-16: “11 And as she was going to fetch it, he called to her, and said, Bring me, I pray thee, a morsel of bread in thine hand.12 And she said, As the Lord thy God liveth, I have not a cake, but an handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse: and, behold, I am gathering two sticks, that I may go in and dress it for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die. 13 And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. 14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.15 And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days.16 And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord, which he spake by Elijah.”
When Elijah met the widow he had to prove whether she was the one God showed him. When he confirmed that she was the one, she gave a divine command that became a miracle to sustain him and the family for the entire period of famine. If he did not have spiritual eyesight, he would have looked for wealthy widows and would have been in conflict with God’s plan.
May the Lord open our spiritual eyes and ears so that we do not live as strangers in our own blessed land.
